The fan fold is a basic step in Origami. Many of us have utilized this fold whenever we\u2019ve beating back the summer heat with a sheet of paper. Students took this a step further by using the technique to divide their paper into equal parts before cutting it into strips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the Henderson Hammock Elementary Art YouTube channel students were able to view the tutorial as a class and were able to construct their own Fan Fold Snake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students were given the choice to create the head of the snake however they chose and to decorate it in their own expressive manner.<\/p>\n\n\n
