My interest is in creating a space that is both seen and felt. It\u2019s as much about the application and technique as it is about representing something that is recognizable to the viewer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The landscape is so recognizable, even in the most abstract. A horizon line, sky, ground and everything else is subjective. It can be recognized as archetypal symbols and iconic places, the simple line of the horizon, the grand rising and majestic falling of the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


I rarely find myself where I had intended because the process tends to create avenues I hadn\u2019t imagined; as a result, a sort of abstract happiness can take place and the Untitled Landscape takes form.<\/p>\n\n\n
